Earlier today, Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) announced January 2015 sales of 3,937 vehicles. That’s a 27.2% increase over January of 2014 (3,096) and starts the year with yet another record in Porsche’s largest single market.
“It’s greatly encouraging that we are able to carry the momentum of last year’s record sales into the start of 2015,” said Detlev von Platen, President and CEO, Porsche Cars North America. “The 911 range with the new GTS models was an especially impressive performer this month with 1,052 deliveries.”
Leading the charge in January was the Cayenne model line with a total of 1,116 deliveries. Following closely in its heals came the 911 with 1,052 vehicles delivered. The Macan was next at 796 and probably would have been first had allocation issues not kept it constrained. Rounding out the month were the Panamera, Boxster/Cayman and 918 deliveries at 437, 502 and 34 respectively.
Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales in the U.S. were 1,023 for January 2015, a 26.6% increase from the same period last year.
