There are many who will argue that the Cayman is the future of Porsche and that eventually, even the 911 will be a mid-engined sports car. While we’re not willing to speculate just yet, we do like the direction Porsche is moving the Cayman. The new GTS, at 340 hp, is just 10 hp shy of it’s big brother the base 911, top speed is only 4mph less and the 0 to sixty times are pretty much identical. The price tag, however, is nearly $10k less (the Cayman GTS starts at $75,200 and the 911 Carrera starts at $84,300). As Porsche says, the new Cayman GTS is “a sports car that seeks out the curve like no other”. Watch the new Cayman GTS in this video.
