A couple weeks ago I asked the question how fast have you driven your Porsche on the road? I placed the poll here and also at Pcars.us A number of you responded and the results, well they speak for themselves.
Lot’s of people driving fast
From a total of 78 responses almost 60% of you said you have driven at 140 mph +. That’s a lot of people driving fast. In fact, it’s even faster than it seems. You see, quite a few people emailed me to say that I should have done the poll in 10 mph increments. If I had done this, the overwhelming majority would have been in the 150 mph + range. Of the 14 people that said they have driven at 160 mph + on the road, more than half would have been over 170 mph. The fact is, a lot of you are cruising at some serious high rates of speed.

Remember, if you are going to drive fast, read this post first. In addition, if you don’t already have one, you may want to consider getting some sort of radar detector. I personally use the Escort Passport 8500 and it has worked very well for me.
