Earlier this week we learned that Magnus Walker was in an accident with his beloved #277. Now, video of the accident has surfaced. Magnus was giving a ride to local journalist, Vineeta Sawkar, from the Minneapolis Star Tribune when the tail-end came a little loose around a corner on the frontage road. Then this happened.
If you're having trouble viewing the video above you can jump directly to it here at The Star Tribune.
Special thanks to the Star Tribune for the use of their video!
Well that’s illuminating; cold tires and “showing off”. I’m surprised there’s not audio of him sayin’ “hold my beer”. I REALLY hate folks sayin’ Poursh.
…snork…
Walker might more likely say hold my J.
Happy to learn all are OK
It’s a two syllable word btw not one Porsche
where’s in the in-car footage? Glad everyone’s ok
The guys drives like an asshole all the time, I’ve seen this dirtbag first hand…
Racing on the street – cold tires – civilians all over the place, including a parked truck.
He deserved it.
Wow, the homeless looking guy crashed a nice Porsche, sad.
I encourage you to look up who he is, He is one of the most well know people in all of the Porsche community. That being said he obviously is totally at fault

Only if he hit or killed someone would he get the lashing eh? On streets, could have hit a few people or other cars. Oh well. I think the exterior of his cars are ugly anyway.
Who taught Rob Zombies body double how to drive?
Completely avoidable accident. Very lucky no one was hurt. Did Magnus learn anything? I certainly hope so. I have no idea what he was thinking as that road was an open road and the trailer was clearly parked there before his little joyride. That could’ve ended a lot worse, I’m certainly glad it didn’t .
Typical. Real driving skills are lacking in too many Porsche owners, especially the “racers.”
Magnus Walker is probably one of the most famous Porsche customizers today. Further, he’s probably one of the most seasoned drivers of Porsches. This is because he is known for driving his classic Porsches often and heavily. Further, he has participated in and won multiple SCCA racing events in this very Porsche. Mr. Walker has also acted as a consultant for Porsche (especially for 911’s), and has been featured in multiple advertisements for the company. I think it’s safe to say that no one can speak to say that they would have driven the car any better, short of formula one drivers, GT3, etc.
What are you drinking?
They used one of his POC articles in a Panorama article.
Porsche doesn’t like what he does. He has also been rightfully accused of stealing socal Porsche tuning techniques and palming them off as his own. Don’t drink the koolaid. The local sportscar community as well as PCA/POC community has had enough of his illegal and deadly antics. He has in the past almost killed many of innocent people and eventually he will kill someone because he doesn’t care about obeying the laws of the street. He should be locked up.
Bro, don’t hate on Mangus. Just because of your kind words.. KoolAid has just announced they are taking care of all repairs to the 277. Oh, yeah!! Oh Yeah.. Shouldn’t you be ironing your pleated khakis? Or shining up the Uber wagon?
I think we have reached “peak” Magnus, thanks for making the vintage Porsche community look completely foolish in front of the press. Magnus is no race driver as that slow motion brain fade clearly demonstrates. Despite the fawning worship by the wannabes out there, he needs to go back to designing blue jeans.
Yeeeesh, just watching the video as he enters the right turn I could see it was going to come around on him. I know transition to oversteer on these cars can be abrupt to the uninitiated, but surely this guy should know how the back end can waggle. The frontage road there has been resurfaced (This segment dates back to the late 1980s, early 1990s) not all that long ago with new double painted lines of course and the newly paved dealership, plenty of oils out there.
I mean I think the real tragidy here is that the 277 got dinged. I mean common that thing is priceless.
Well, “karma” finally caught up with the dude! ????????
It might now be appropriate to rename our friend “T-Bone Walker.”
If that lift gate had been down a bit lower we might have had ‘Magnus Part Two’
That was really stupid. He should know better. He is a terrible driver. He is lucky he did not kill other people on the street or himself slamming into a parked big rig. When he gets better, he should go to a driving school on a racetrack. What a wanker.
So, I watched the video again and I think he slammed into his own big rig car transporter! That was really poor planning with all the traffic on the street. Hope Magnus gets better soon and hope he can straighten out the body on his 277.
I dread saying it, but -Stick to the track Jack,
It’s that kinda bad press that keeps us Porsche drivers in the sights of cops near and far.
Should have gotten a $200. ticket in a handicap spot, could not even hit his lines in the parking space !
Couldn’t SOMEONE have educated this “reporter” on the correct pronunciation of Porsche before she made a complete fool of herself to all Porsche fans? And…Really?!? “Banged Up and Bruised?” From THAT little hit? THAT’S a bit melodramatic!
Love the way everyone on foot there came running to their aid. “Git that there picture Jethro? You’ll be famous on You Tube”. All the experts prior to this comment should consider that the next time they take their car out of the cocoon and on to a public street.
