By now, you know Porsche’s results at Le Mans. If you don’t and don’t want to know yet, stop reading. Otherwise, carry on. After one of the tightest and competitive battles in recent history, Porsche won the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Some say they “stole” the race from Toyota. Others say Toyota “handed” Porsche the victory. Both these statements are untrue and take away from the accomplishments of both teams. The race is 24 hours long, it isn’t 23 hours and 55 minutes long. Finishing is an achievement in and of itself and a team’s car must finish to win. What happened to Toyota is unfortunate, but in the end, the best car won. However, the fact that Toyota lead the race for so long and gave Porsche, a company with the most storied of histories at Le Mans, such a run for their money is something that deserves respect. Respect that Porsche provided in a post race tweet.
Competed together for 24 hours. Head to head for 24 hours. Gained our respect forever. #LEMANS24 pic.twitter.com/9NVoLVNaax

Porsche Defines Sportsmanship
Not content to stop there, Porsche released the video below yesterday. Be sure to watch all the way to the end. This is just one of the many reasons why I love Porsche as much as I do.
