Porsche Canada, the importer and distributor for the Stuttgart sports car maker, is offering a one-of-a-kind 911 GT3 RS for charity ahead of the June 18 opening of its new Porsche Experience Centre Toronto. The bespoke model, created in collaboration with Porsche’s Sonderwunsch personalization team and designer Grant Larson, features a fully painted red and white Canadian livery inspired by the national flag and a custom “pepita” fabric interior. Under the hood, the cowl cover is personally signed by Larson, GT product line director Andreas Preuninger and Boris Apenbrink, head of Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur.
The sealed-bid auction launches tonight via RM Sotheby’s platform at the centre’s grand opening event and closes July 1 at 3 p.m. ET. Bidders will receive the car’s matching chronograph timepiece and a 1:18 scale model of the Experience Centre Toronto edition GT3 RS. A portion of sale proceeds will support Campfire Circle, an Ontario charity that provides camp programs for children with serious illnesses.
“Much like the Porsche Experience Centre Toronto itself, this special vehicle was the realization of a dream,” said Trevor Arthur, president and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada. “We are delighted at the potential of this car to fascinate and make its mark well beyond its new owner.”
Note: This Canadian-spec model is not certified for U.S. road use. To participate, register at the charity auction link on RM Sotheby’s site.
