Porsche has announced an expansion of the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles by introducing two new demonstration lap options. This addition increases the total number of track experiences available at the center to over 40. According to Michelle Rainey, Director of Porsche Experience Centers, the aim is to allow more individuals to experience the thrill of riding in a Porsche alongside a professional instructor, highlighting the capabilities of their vehicles. The new options are priced starting at $100.
The first option, Drift Demonstration Laps, takes place on the Low Friction Handling Circuit using a Porsche 911 GT3. Participants will learn vehicle control techniques necessary for maintaining a controlled skid. The second option, Off-Road Demonstration Laps, features the Porsche Cayenne S navigating various obstacles on PECLA’s Off-Road Course, including logs, moguls, and steep descents.
These new offerings complement the existing Handling Circuit Demonstration Laps, which simulate driving on a country road with a selection of Porsche models, including the Porsche 911, Porsche 718, Taycan, and Macan Turbo SUV. Similar programs are also available at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta. Both centers, celebrating a decade in the United States, serve as comprehensive brand destinations, providing immersive experiences both on and off the track, along with curated vehicle displays, simulators, dining options, and retail stores.
