Porsche Motorsport North America has announced Porsche Sprint Trophy Porsche Club of America by Yokohama, a new one make series created with the Porsche Club of America. Open to PCA’s more than 1,000 active club racers, the championship will run on the 2026 PCA Club Racing calendar at Sebring International Raceway, Lime Rock Park, Watkins Glen International, and Road America. With over 170,000 members, PCA is described as the largest single make enthusiast club in the world.
Porsche Sprint Trophy PCA becomes PCA Club Racing’s newest class and is positioned as both a destination and a step in the North American Porsche Motorsport Pyramid. Eligible cars include the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Types 992.1 and 991.2), the current Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, and the earlier 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, which will compete in their own class. “The Porsche Club of America and its members are integral to the foundation of the North American Porsche Motorsport Pyramid,” said Volker Holzmeyer, President and CEO of Porsche Motorsport North America. “Porsche Sprint Trophy Porsche Club of America by Yokohama provides the perfect introduction to professional racing for new racers, while also serving as a destination for established club racers.”

Each event weekend will feature two practice sessions, qualifying, and two 30 minute races. USAC will handle technical and safety inspections, while PMNA supports competitors with engineering, parts, and marketing. Class champions earn invitations to Porsche Night of Champions in Germany, and full season one make entrants receive prioritized Porsche race car allocations.
“We are very excited to add a series with direct support from both USAC and PMNA to the PCA Club Racing calendar,” said Aaron Ambrosino, President of the Porsche Club of America. Yokohama joins as title partner, with Andrew Briggs noting that “Porsche owners share the same passion for performance that drives Yokohama’s commitment to delivering world-class handling and grip through our ADVAN tire line.” PCA Club Racing, which enters its 34th year with over 1,000 licensed racers and 26 annual events, will add Sprint Trophy PCA as a new home for Cup and Clubsport competitors in 2026.
