Porsche Penske Motorsport achieved its second consecutive victory in the Rolex 24 At Daytona, held at Daytona International Speedway, marking the beginning of the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship series. The No. 7 factory Porsche 963, driven by Felipe Nasr from Brazil, Nick Tandy from Great Britain, and Laurens Vanthoor from Belgium, overtook their sister vehicle, the No. 6 Porsche 963, with approximately 20 minutes remaining in the race to secure the win. The No. 6, which included drivers Mathieu Jaminet from France, Matt Campbell from Australia, and Kévin Estre from France, finished in third place. This victory represents the 20th overall win for Porsche in this endurance event.
Additionally, the No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R achieved a podium finish in the GT Daytona class. The team, comprising Porsche contract driver Ayhancan Güven from Turkey, along with American drivers Elliott Skeer and Adam Adelson, and Australian driver Tom Sargent, secured second place, finishing 27th overall in a competitive field of 61 cars.
