Timo Resch has been officially appointed as the new President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America Inc. (PCNA), according to a recent announcement from the company. Resch, who began his career with Porsche in 1995 as a student in Zuffenhausen, has returned to the company’s North American headquarters in Atlanta to assume his new role.
Resch, 48, brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having previously led the Product Planning and Market Research unit for Porsche’s North American subsidiary. His career also includes significant leadership roles at Audi AG and BMW, where he was responsible for global sales and marketing at BMW Motorrad.
During his first day in the new role, Resch spent time getting acquainted with the staff at PCNA’s headquarters. He expressed his enthusiasm for being back in Atlanta, where he had previously lived for six years during his earlier tenure with Porsche. Resch highlighted the warm welcome he received and acknowledged the current health and growth of Porsche Cars North America. He emphasized the professionalism of the staff and the high standards set by the dealer network, indicating a positive outlook for the company’s future in the region.
Following his first day in Atlanta, Resch is scheduled to travel to the west coast to participate in the official opening of the new Porsche Center in San Francisco, signaling his active involvement in the company’s ongoing expansion and customer engagement initiatives.
