This Porsche Really Smokes

Porsche Design has offered smoking accessories for some time now, everything from pipes to lighters. However, it's a bit of a surprise in this day and age that a brand such as Porsche would continue to promote these smoking implements and even go so far as to create new products. In fact, they seem to know this when in their official press release they say, "It only shows a discreet branding on the aluminum top".

However, that's exactly what they did with the introduction of the Porsche Design Shisha waterpipe. This aluminum, stainless steel and glass design is made in Germany, stands just shy of 22 inches high and is currently on sale exclusively at the Porsche Design "shop-in-shop" at the world famous Harrods department store in London. You can expect to see the Shisha available world-wide by the end of this month.

I would expect that sales of the new Porsche Design Shisha will be brisk in the Middle East and Africa where Shisha smoking is the norm and part of the social culture. Do you think we'll ever even see them on the shelves here in the US?
