Over the years we’ve seen a lot here at FLATSIXES.com. We’ve seen other sports car manufacturers use the 911 as a benchmark to compare their cars to, we’ve seen companies like Mini try to goad Porsche into a race, we’ve seen a 911 race a jet liner, we’ve even seen a Cayenne rear-end a lawn tractor. This, however, is the first time we’ve seen a riding lawnmower compared to a Porsche.
From what we’ve read, Top Gear wanted to build the world’s fastest lawnmower so they enlisted the help of Honda and its British Touring Car Championship partner Team Dynamics. What they created is nothing short of spectacular (for a lawnmower).

Apparently, it can actually cut grass at 15 mph or under. However, the normal grass catcher has been re-purposed to hold the oil cooler, fuel tank and a secondary radiator. Looks like you’ll have to pick up your own clippings. The video above obviously doesn’t show the tractor racing a 911, but it sure intimates it could. With a 0-60 time of 4 seconds it will give most normally aspirated 911s quite a race!
