Earlier this year Porsche “unveiled” their replacement for the 911 RSR. However, conspiracy theorists quickly jumped on the reveal noting that Porsche failed to provide any technical details, profile pictures or the all important shots of the rear-end. Speculation was rampant and ran the gamut from the new RSR would be turbo-charged to the idea that it would be mid-engined (a fact that many have noted would require a waiver from the FIA due to how different it would be from the road-going version).
Earlier today Porsche was at Sebring testing and the folks over at “Fans of the 12 Hours” captured the video above. It’s definitely Porsche’s new RSR. Is it turbo-charged or mid-engined? We’ll know for sure when we see it unveiled next month in LA.
