You’ll be amazed at how non-turbo like these new turbos are. Sure, I know, how could it every be as good as a normally aspirated engine? What about Turbo lag, won’t it bother me? The truth is, Porsche’s done a remarkable job with the new 991.2 and their biggest engine architecture change since switching from air-cooled to water-cooled. The first time we drove a 991.2 we were pleasantly surprised at what we’ve come to know as Porsche’s new normal; turbo charged engines in even the lowliest of models.
