Porsche of Canada has been doing extremely well. As of our last report on their sales, back in September, overall sales were up some 15% over the year to date. Alexander Pollich, head of Porsche Cars Canada since 2013, has presided over 70-months of continuous growth. Over the last four years of Mr. Pollich’s leadership, Porsche has relocated and expanded the corporate headquarters and presided over growth in the dealer network. During this period, Porsche also opened the brand’s first training facility in Canada.
Mr. Pollich will be leaving his position as Chief Executive Officer in Canada, and moving to the Managing Director position for Porsche Cars Great Britain, effective January 1st, 2018.
Marc Ouayoun, currently the managing director of Porsche Cars France, will take over the Chief Executive officer position in Canada as of January 1st, 2018. Mr. Ouayoun joined the brand in 2006, and oversaw sales and network development in France. Prior to joining Porsche, Mr. Ouayoun worked in marketing across Western Europe, and entered the automotive industry with Daimler in 1995.
At Porsche Cars Canada, Mr. Ouayoun will preside over more than 50 people in sales, finance, marketing, network development, and PR.
