Ever since we started featuring a Porsche for sale each month here on PorschePurist we’ve been inundated with requests from people looking to sell their Porsche on our site. So, here is just a small round-up of interesting Porsches we’ve been sent from both private owners and a few of our sponsors (gotta keep the lights on). We don’t charge for this service, so if you would like your Porsche featured in this listing at some point (or you see one we should feature), simply send us an email using our contact form and be sure to give us details (including price). If we can list your Porsche we’ll be in touch and ask for pictures. Enjoy this month’s installment!
1987 Porsche 930 Turbo
The late eighties Turbo Porsches have been appreciating at an accelerated rate lately. Porsches like this 1987 Turbo Coupe are the ones that seem to be capturing the true premiums. Depending on how they’re cared for and driven, future values will most likely continue the upward trend. This particular example has traveled just 26,923 miles in its pampered life. The original paint and interior are said to be in outstanding condition. This Porsche comes with its original BBS wheels as well as the set of custom made ones you see in the picture above. It’s for sale from a private seller for $64,900 or best offer. For more information or additional pictures please contact Wally at 843-301-6259 or via email at wally@porschebahn.com
1974 Porsche 911 Carrera
This non sunroof coupe has white with blue/black interior and is number 296 of only 528 produced. The current owner purchased this Porsche in 1993 with 107k miles on the clock. While this Porsche hasn’t seen much use over the last 19 years (the current owner barely put an additional 2k miles on bringing the total mileage to 109k) it has received extensive and expensive attention. Work includes a bare metal rotisserie restoration, a complete engine rebuild with too many updates to list (trust us, they’re are quite a few), new adjustable Koni classic shocks and rebuilt front alloy S & standard rear brake calipers, etc., etc., etc. The list the owner supplied us with is simply too long for this space. However, if you want more info you can contact Frank directly at 518-664-5289 or via email at faa@nycap.rr.com. Asking price is $45,000 and includes the wheels shown above as well as the original original gold centered Fuch wheels.
1969 Porsche 912
This very original 912 comes with factory correct colors of Burgundy over brown; a surprisingly pleasant color combination. The original owner took European delivery and then brought it home to California where it has remained since. All numbers match, it’s rust and accident free and the only deviation from completely originality is the updated Blaupunkt stereo. The sunroof works, there’s a huge paper trail including a receipt from 8,000 miles ago documenting a $5500 engine rebuild. In addition, this Porsche 912 has the orignal books, two sets of keys, original delivery paperwork and California black plate. It’s available from PorschePurist sponsor Chequered Flag for $34,500. For more information and pictures, check the listing on their site or contact Neil at 310-827-8665.
