Beginning on May 10, 2011 visitors to the Porsche Museum will have the opportunity to visit a special exhibition: “Ferdinand Porsche – Pioneer of the Hybrid Drive”. Recognizing that Porsche produced the world’s first workable full-hybrid car, the Semper Vivus, this exhibit provides visitors with a fascinating glimpse at young Ferdinand Porsche’s engineering creations and the technology behind the first production hybrid vehicle. If you can’t see the video below (in your email), simply click on Porsche Semper Vivus to view it on the site.
As part of the new exhibit visitors will have the chance to experience driving demonstrations of the Semper Vivus first hand. Not only will you have the opportunity to see this incredible vehicle under operation, but Porsche experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide more information about the history and technology of this ground breaking vehicle.
The Semper Vivus will be on display from May 10, 2011 through June 13, 2011 at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. For more information on this exhibit and the Porsche Museum itself, please visit their website.
