Most players and college students participating in the NFL scouting combine aren’t thinking about future endorsement deals, they just want to get through with good times/scores. Adidas, however, is looking to change that with their newest promotion.

Usually, sponsors wait until players have finished the combine, signed with a team and built up their “Q score” a bit. Not so this time around. Adidas is offering NFL Combine participants the opportunity to “sign” with the company prior to the start of the 40-yard dash. For those that do “sign” and then go on to run one of the three fastest times, Adidas will award them with a Porsche 911 Carrera.

Mind you, this isn’t just any 911. This is a 911 branded with Adidas’ cheetah on the side. The same cheetah you can see on the side of the newest Adidas Uncaged cleats. I like the idea of giving fast cars to the fastest players, but I sure do hope that Cheetah is a wrap and not paint.
