Porsche launched a national contest called “My Daily Magic” in conjunction with their current “Engineered for Magic. Every day” campaign. The idea was to incorporate a film making project into the larger campaign that works to challenge perceptions that Porsche sports cars should be (or can be) used only for Sunday drives and special occasion trips.
Public voting for the amateur filmmakers competition on September 12, 2011 and closes tomorrow on September 21st. If you haven’t already done so, take a minute to view the 10 finalist videos (culled from 100s of submissions) on the MyDailyMagic website. While your vote is only part of the equation (in other words Porsche still gets a say in things) you can influence the decision.
One lucky film will be selected as the Grand Prize winner. The producer of the winning film receives:
- Exposure of their Finalist Film on ReelzChannel and theaters nationwide
- 1 year Porsche lease (maximum value $18,000) or $18,000 cash
- A 2 day/1 night VIP invitation to the Red Carpet Premiere screening, including round-trip air transportation and lodging
