The introduction of the new Cayman GT4 took the Porsche world by storm earlier this week. Since its announcement on Tuesday night, talk of the mid-engine track rat has been burning up the internet. The media blitz from Porsche continues and these videos below are just the latest in what is sure to be a continued push of the GT4.
Most surprising to us about this video is the small group of people complaining that the video is “faked”. More specifically these “Nürburgring Truthers”, as Jalopnik calls them, suggest that Porsche made the video on a track other than the Nürburgring and used CGI to make it look the way it does. Here’s another version they claim does the same thing.

Well, of course they used CGI! Porsche couldn’t have possibly raced a completely undisguised Cayman GT4 around the ring and expect to have kept it secret, could they? “Nürburgring Truthers”? Really?
