Porsche Cars Canada remains on a year-over-year growth trend that shows no signs of stopping. With more dealerships and a new Cayenne just reaching dealers, our neighbors to the north are sure to buy them like they’re going out of style. In September of 2018 PCC sold a whopping 100 more cars than they had in September of 2017. That’s an impressive growth, most of which was seen by Cayenne and Macan models. Panamera sales were slightly down last month, while 718 Boxster and Cayman sales are remarkably short of last year. The only non-SUV model to see growth last month was the 911, which has seen a number of special editions lately, likely accounting for the 4% increase. Canadian sales remain the best they’ve ever been with 6,451 examples moved across the first 9 months of this year.
“The Cayenne has always been a popular choice amongst Canadians,” said Marc Ouayoun, President & CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. “The arrival of the all-new third-generation Cayenne in Canada continues that trend, as evidenced by its sales performance in September.”
Like it’s U.S. counterpart, the Canadian dealer network relies on Certified Pre-Owned sales for about 25% of dealership productivity. This September Canadian dealers moved 229 CPO models, up 13% over the same month in 2017.
