2. Runge Karroserie’s Frankfurt Flyer #3 Available For Preorder
I’ve been absolutely enamored with these cars since Chris built the first one about 4 years ago. Since that time, he’s built a second Frankfurt Flyer for a customer, including a completely custom removable hard-top, as well as a new car called the HB Special. His metal working skills have impressed all along, and he’s offering the opportunity for you to own the third (and possibly last) Frankfurt Flyer built. He hasn’t built it yet, because he wants to work with the future owner on the details of exactly what they want, but he is talented, and he seems to be able to work metal pretty quickly. I follow Chris’ builds on Facebook, and was astonished with how quickly #2 went together. This is your opportunity to own a VERY rare and nearly bespoke custom racer for the street. You’ll get all kinds of people giving you double-takes with a car like this on the street. One thing’s for certain, your neighbor won’t have one!

3. Gorgeous Amazon Green 1991 964 3.3 Liter Turbo
I hold a great deal of respect for the 964 Turbo, which is a necessity for anyone who has driven one. While the later 3.6 liter car is the faster and more brutal car, the 3.3 is still an intense experience, using the same fantastic engine of the earlier 930. The surge of boost on tap in a car like this one is a weapon that you really need to know how to properly use before you give it the boot, it doesn’t just deserve respect, it commands it. This is a pretty crazy car that can knock you sideways into next week if you aren’t careful. Every year, these are becoming more and more valuable, and as it was one of the last rear-wheel drive Porsche Turbo models, one can see why. If you’re a thrill seeking daredevil, this just might be your car.

4. 1997 Porsche 993 C4S RUF BTR For Sale
Have you ever found Porsche’s 993 Turbo to be lacking a little in power? RUF’s BTR might be the one for you. First, they ordered the car with a little sportier look, specified with a full Porsche aerokit, and added 996 GT3 sport bucket seats. Then, they chucked a bit more power at it with a turbocharger, a high capacity intercooler, RUF specific camshafts, a high flow exhaust, new fuel injectors, a BTR custom engine wiring harness, and a RUF/Bosch Motronic ECU. Where the regular old Turbo featured 360 horsepower, RUF’s BTR has almost Turbo S and GT2 levels of power at 420 horses. This is a very rare and very meticulously maintained example of one of RUF’s best machines, so pick this up for your collection before it’s gone.

5. One-of-about-45-built 1961 Porsche 356 D’Ieteren Roadster Super 90 For Sale
This D’Ieteren-built Roadster is quite a rare little beast. Among the 356 crowd, it is one of the most desirable models, being that it is was, in fact, crafted by the Belgian coachbuilding firm of D’Ieteren Freres, instead of Drauz as most Roadsters were. Only 473 examples of the T5 Roadster were assembled by D’Ieteren (even rarer, there were 259 T6 chassis cars assembled). What really sets this car apart from the crowd, though, is its numbers matching Super 90 engine. Porsche doesn’t have any official documents stating how many roadsters were shipped with a Super 90 engine, but some report only about 10% of the deliveries were specified with this higher-power motor. That would mean only about 45 cars were ever built with this engine and chassis combination. Rare, indeed.
For the sake of comparison, there is a non S-90 example that will be brought to auction by Bonhams in January, and they expect to get 130-160,000 dollars for it. This one has not yet made its reserve, but it looks like it will fall a bit short of those numbers. This would be a great opportunity to pick up an investment grade vehicle.
