We’ve been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for nearly three years now, and we’ve seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. This week we’re taking a look at several iterations of Porsche’s 964-generation 911. If you missed out on all of the 964s that crossed the block this weekend at RM Sotheby’s Amelia Island sale, here’s your chance to jump in on the action. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed our curated look at the Porsche market. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

1. 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6L For Sale
Perhaps the holy grail for Porsche 911 collectors of a certain age. Sometimes referred to as “the Bad Boys Porsche“, the 3.6-liter Turbo was the performance legend of the 1990s. Unlike the 993 Turbos that followed it, the 964 generation was rear wheel drive only, and had gobs of horsepower on tap. This example is nicely kept with only 41,000 miles on the odometer. It looks very nice in photographs, and could make a collector very happy, so long as they treat this beast with the respect it deserves.

2. 1991 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3L For Sale
Not quite as wild as the 3.6 Turbo, the earlier model 964 Turbo continued to use the 3.3-liter found in 930s of the 1980s. This wild Turbo still had around 320 horsepower, and if you’re not prepared behind the wheel, it can catch you off guard. You have to drive this Porsche with firm and assured inputs, smooth and direct, or it’ll bite back. If you want turbocharged performance in a 964, but don’t want to pay 3.6-liter premiums, here is your chance. Not only that, but this 964 is alleged to be one of only three in this color! And what a color it is.

3. 1994 Porsche 911 Speedster For Sale
964 Speedsters are super rare, with only 930 examples built, and less than half of those shipped to the US. I used to find the Speedster unattractive, but it’s certainly grown on me in recent years. It’s a sleek and simple design that works well with the rounded nature of the 964’s features. This one looks resplendent in Grand Prix White, and is said to be 100% original paint. The black sport seats set off the interior perfectly.

4. 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe For Sale
This is a gorgeous low-mile example of a near-perfect Carrera 2 with just 32,000 miles on the odometer. I never thought I’d see the day when a 964 Coupe was valued at nearly $100,000 dollars, but here we are. As we’ve mentioned before, 964 Carrera 2 prices are going through the roof, and it’s just nuts the kinds of prices people are getting for them compared to what they were worth a decade ago. If you bought one around 2010, congratulations on your windfall. This Porsche is being advertised as a “Perfect Singer Donor”, which would be an absolute shame for such a gorgeous example. Please buy this 964 and drive it to save it from a Singer-ized fate.

5. 1994 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet For Sale
Don’t worry, not every 964 is a collectible. This particular Carrera 2 Cabriolet can still be had for under $40,000. There are still some 964-generation 911s that normal folks like you or I can afford. They’re getting harder to find, and you’ll have to compromise sometimes on what you want, but they’re out there. If you want an inexpensive 964, look for early Carrera 4s, and most Cabriolets. They’re still flying under the radar for the most part, but still provide a whole lot of fun for the money.
