The “full circuit” at Sebring International Raceway is legendary for the toll it takes on both car and drive. Over 3.74 miles, through 17 turns, competitors bump and grind over one of the oldest, continuously operating race tracks in the U.S. In their quest for the checkered flag, every competitor strives for the best “line” (the fastest way around a given track). In the video below, previous Sebring overall winner, Jim Pace, narrates his way through two hot-laps in a 1974 Porsche 911 RSR 3.0.
This is the next best thing to having Jim as an instructor in the passenger space. Even going at full throttle he still manages to walks us through each and every inch of this legendary track. Even more impressive is watching as he passes newer Porsches (911s and Caymans) as if they’re standing still.
