The 12 hours of Sebring is happening tomorrow, and the Porsche North America Team has pulled out all of the stops in order to be prepared when the green flag falls in the morning. In order to defend their class points lead, and continue their winning streak, Porsche have arrived in Sebring ready for a brawl, as the competition is tight. A lot of time has been spent away from the track doing some ‘teambuilding’, and even more time has been spent testing setups for a very non-Daytona race.
In the video, many of those preparatory pieces of the puzzle are discussed by Jens Walther, President of Porsche Motorsport North America, and Porsche factory driver Patrick Long. They touch on the road they’ve traveled leading up to Sebring, beginning with the Daytona finish in January. They are ready to race, and if things go their way, win.
Other topics of discussion in this video include the include the new Porsche Intelligent Performance worldwide livery shared across the WEC GTE Pro, LMP1, and TUSC GTLM teams, as well as the addition of Hertz as a partner to the North American racing team. In the video, you can see Yvonne Humphreys, a representative of Hertz, and Walther discussing the partnership.
The #912 car has the pole to start the race tomorrow, so it looks like their preparation has paid off. Here’s to an all-Porsche “36 hours of Florida”.
